Eric Babroff

Eric joined the Alterra Property Group in the spring of 2020. Prior to Alterra he started his career as a leasing agent in Philadelphia and has since spent the past twenty years working in multiple markets including New York, Chicago, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. His time in the industry has given him the opportunity to enjoy projects with new construction, historic redevelopment, and renovation in high-rise and garden style communities within urban and suburban environments. Eric is an active member of NAA holding his CAM and CAPs certifications. He has his Bachelor’s degree from Rowan University and currently resides in Skippack Pennsylvania.

Leah McVay

Leah McVay joined Alterra Property Group in September of 2017. She brings over 15 years of marketing and project management experience in multi-family housing, student living, and furnished corporate accommodations.

Leah is experienced in implementing innovative systems and creative strategies resulting in established brand identity, enhanced customer engagement, and lead generation. She is responsible for managing the overall marketing strategy for the residential portfolio to include digital marketing/ advertising, social media, and product launch. She brings to Alterra a strong understanding of real estate marketing, sales leadership, and team development.

Leah is a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.

Regional Director of Property Management

Teresa Steinberger

Teresa Steinberger joined Alterra Property Group in July of 2015. She is responsible for overseeing the day to day management and operations of multiple multifamily residential apartments and commercial properties. With more than 15 years of property management experience, Teresa has strong administrative skills, a deep knowledge of contracts and property accounting and excellent communication skills.

Teresa is a graduate from Temple University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts.

Brett Weisberg

Brett joined Alterra in August of 2020 with a focus on Operations and Asset Management.

Brett previously held a similar role at the Fineberg Companies, one of the largest multi-family management firms in the Greater Boston area. Prior to Fineberg, he gained experience working in commercial real estate finance at Capital Crossing Servicing Company.

He earned a degree in Business Management from Pennsylvania State University and is a Boston native, but currently resides in Center City with his wife.

Ben Bevan

Ben Bevan joined Alterra Property Group in May of 2017 as a Property Manager/Leasing Associate. Ben has worked throughout the Philadelphia area in a variety of roles in Real Estate before joining Alterra.

He has lived in the Philadelphia area his entire life, currently residing in Graduate Hospital.

Ben is a graduate of Drexel University with Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

Marketing Coordinator

Sofya Glazycheva

Sofya joined Alterra in August 2023 as a Marketing Coordinator. Sofya brings to Alterra years of content development, design, brand strategy, and sales experience. Prior to joining Alterra, Sofya worked as a freelance Brand and Content Specialist for small to midsize owners. Sofya kindled her passion for real estate and property management while working as a Leasing Manager at Greystar in Seattle. Joining the Marketing Department at APG was the perfect opportunity to utilize her creative skillset and passion for the industry. Sofya holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing Seminars with a minor in psychology from Johns Hopkins University. 

Sofya was born in Moscow, grew up in Bucks County, and currently resides in Center City Philadelphia with her hamster. In her free time, she loves making art, dancing salsa, playing pinball, and listening to live jazz.

Stefanie Cottman

Stefanie joined Alterra Property Group in August of 2024 as Property Manager. Prior to joining Alterra, she built a robust career primarily in the DMV area. Having successfully managed and completed six distinct lease-ups, demonstrating a strong ability to oversee complex projects from inception to successful lease-up.

Stefanie’s extensive experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of market dynamics, resident relations, and property operations, making her adept at delivering results and enhancing property performance.

Stefanie is a graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology.

Cherice Elmore

Cherice joined Alterra Property Group in November of 2022 as Property Manager. Prior to joining Alterra, Cherice worked in management and customer service roles in several industries, including property management, finance, and insurance. She takes pride in being knowledgeable in her industry and providing superb support to residents and staff. 

 Cherice is an Atlanta native and graduate of Georgia State University. She currently resides in Fishtown with her dog Theodore.

Justina Hill

Justina Hill joined Alterra Property Group in December of 2017 and is currently Property Manager for Alterra’s flagship luxury adaptive reuse property (The Versailles) along with two mixed-use assets.  Justina has over 10 years of Property Management experience and joined Alterra from a Toll Brothers new construction lease-up at a luxury garden style community in suburban Philadelphia .

Justina is a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

She currently resides in the Suburbs of Philadelphia with her husband and two kids.

Joseph Mettee

Joe joined Alterra Property Group in May 2024 as the Property Manager for The Arch and The Commonwealth.  Prior to joining Alterra, Joe managed a 700+ unit property in the East Falls area of Philadelphia.  

He began his career in property management in January 2007 and has managed various asset types across Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. In 2014, Joe was awarded Property Manager of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders.

He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. Joe and his husband reside in Center City Philadelphia and in their free time enjoy traveling the world.

Brendan Pell

Brendan joined Alterra Property Group in June of 2021 as a Leasing Consultant. Prior to joining Alterra, he was a student-athlete at Dickinson College and gained experience in finance, sales, and sales management through various internships before graduating in the Spring of 2021. 

He is responsible for managing Alterra’s North Broad Living sub portfolio after gaining knowledge of leasing operations and analyzing Philadelphia real estate markets during his time as a consultant for various Alterra properties in Center City. 

Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from Dickinson College where he was the captain of the baseball team and recipient of The 2021 Moe Letterman Leadership Award. He now resides in Center City and is a proud volunteer for the Special Olympics at the aid of his younger brother, Connor.

Tyrell Taylor

Employed with Alterra Property Group since 2019, Tyrell Taylor continues his role as a Multi-Site Property Manager for three Class-A luxury communities in South Philadelphia.

Prior to Tyrell’s tenure at APG, he worked as a Security Manager with a third-party vendor contracted at several APG Living apartment communities in Philadelphia and surrounding. Tyrell attended Temple University Real Estate Institute and Mark Cumberland’s Real Estate School to learn about property management, leasing, and the processes of purchasing and selling real estate. Shortly after, he obtained his Real Estate License and worked as a Leasing Professional at the Hanover Company. 

In just shy of six years, Tyrell has helped spearhead the lease up phase at six Class-A luxury apartment communities in Downtown Philadelphia and University City, totaling 1400 units, 3000+ tenants, and $45MM in annual revenue.

Jared Tracy

Jared joined Alterra in November 2023 as the Property Manager for a Lease-Up in West Philadelphia.

He began his property management career in the great state of Texas in 2017 as a Leasing Consultant and made his way up to Property Manager before moving to Pennsylvania in 2021. Jared has worked in almost every field of property management – Garden Style, Mid-Rise, High-Rise, Multisite, Conventional, Condominium, Low-Income, and Student – and holds his Real-Estate License in PA, NJ, and TX.

Jared is a Graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He currently resides in North Philadelphia where he spends most of his time and money on his cat and dog.

Anthony Warfel

Anthony joined Alterra Property Group in April 2021.  Prior to joining Alterra, Anthony had worked in sales/management roles in a variety of fields, including real estate, construction, and healthcare. He is a Delaware native but has made Fishtown his home for the past 10 years.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.

Alicia Warthen

Alicia Warthen joined Alterra Property Group in May of 2024. She brings over 10 years of property management experience in residential, medical, and commercial assets. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and operations of multiple multifamily residential apartments. 

Alicia holds a Real Estate Sales Agent license and is passionate about advancing her career and contributing to the advancement and success of Alterra. She is also an avid Philly sports fan.

Mikaila Watts

Mikaila joined Alterra Property Group in July 2024 as the Property Manager for a Lease-Up in East Kensington.

She began her property management career in 2019 as a Leasing Consultant at a luxury garden-style community.

Through her career, Mikaila has worked her way up to Property Manager and has successfully managed multi-family properties throughout the Philadelphia region. With over 5 years of industry expertise, she has honed her skills in owner/tenant relations, financial management, and property maintenance.

Mikaila currently resides in Center City, Philadelphia and is an avid animal lover with a passion for travel.
